A Holy Conversation

Our Lutheran confessions teach us that God is “richly extravagant in his grace” not only through his Word and the Sacraments but also by means of “the mutual conversation and consolation of the brethren.” That is to say the simple conversations we have with one another, as brothers and sisters in Christ, is a way in which God is gracious toward us sinners. It is not only good but also necessary for us, as the body of Christ, to be with one another, to talk with and encourage one another.

What do we do about these things? You’ve got real questions and Dr. Robert Bennett has real answers.

This presentation will explore the Biblical roles of husbands and wives, bosses and workers, and parents and children, along with cross bearing, in Biblical texts and narratives to better understand the order of creation and with the goal of helping us all better understand our peculiar vocations.
